Spring Cleaning For Your Brushes
are you overdue to clean your makeup brushes?
We may not want to admit it but most of us go to long in between cleaning our makeup brushes. Here at Salon Patrick we clean and sanitize our brushes between each client. For at home personal use you should be doing it at least one to two times a month. What better excuse to get those makeup brushes clean than spring cleaning?
My favorite product to cleanse my at home brushes is Aveda’s Shampure Shampoo! It is gentle enough to not ruin your brush bristles but still cleanses them thoroughly.
Cleansing Steps:
Wet the bristles with lukewarm water.
Place a drop of Shampure Shampoo into the palm of your clean hand.
Gently massage the tips of the bristles in your palm.
Rinse the bristles thoroughly.
Squeeze out the excess moisture with a clean towel.
Let your brushes dry overnight.
