Aveda Outer Peace Pads are great for reducing breakouts and preventing future breakouts!
They are a salicylic acid treatment that cleanses, exfoliates and unclogs pores—to help wipe out blackheads and prevent new breakouts. Infused with powerful plant extracts—including tamanu, amla, boswellia and saw palmetto. Use once a day after cleansing or more if needed to exfoliate and unclog pores.
TIPS
• Use a gentle cleanser, just twice a day: avoid aggressive products like apricot or walnut shell exfoliators, which can irritate skin, or alcohol-based toners, which can dry it out
• Don't pick or squeeze: it can force bacteria deeper into the skin and may leave scars
• Avoid excess sun: it doesn't help out acne and can actually add to clog pores and discoloration. (Wear sunscreen when you can’t avoid thee sun!)
