Today’s Monday ME Time topic is Waxing.

How to prepare for a waxing appointment?
Waxing is a popular option for keeping your skin smooth and hairless for weeks. Here’s a few things to do to prep before!
Let your hair grow but not too long. Two to three weeks of growth, or about an eighth to a quarter of an inch is ideal.
Gently exfoliate your skin a day or two before waxing, but skip harsh scrubs the day of an appointment.
Moisturize well on the days leading up to your appointment. Healthy well-moisturized skin allows the wax to release more easily.
Aftercare is a very important part of waxing, here are a few a few things to avoid for the next 24-48 hours:
Be sure to keep the waxed area clean
No tanning (sunbathing/sunbeds)
No scratching or touching the area
No saunas, hot tubs
